Messages
"Mesajlar" is a replacement application on Android mobile phones that allows users to send and receive messages via their mobile carrier (using the SMS and MMS protocol). Messages are only ever transported between mobile phones and mobile carriers. We do not collect and do not store these messages on our servers. Also, we never share these messages with third parties.
Account
It is mandatory to create an account to use our services. We use encrypted phone number to create your account. Your account does not collect or store your message contents in any way. It only holds your templates, color preferences, spam settings, supported organizations (any civil society organization, sports teams etc).

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information on our servers. All SMS and MMS messages you send and receive, which also includes your phone number are transited via your mobile carrier and never by us.
Your contact / address book is only accessed to associate contact names and contact pictures with your conversations and messages. Your contact information is never collected, uploaded or stored on our servers.
Information being collected
Mesajlar does not store any personally identifiable information on our servers. Your phone number is uploaded to the mobile carrier so that they can handle sending and receiving SMS and MMS.
READ_PHONE_STATE
The `READ_CONTACTS` permission is used at getting contact names from phone numbers, also at showing contact suggestions. It is optional, the app works without it too.
READ_CONTACTS
The `READ_PHONE_STATE` permission is needed in cases the user has multiple SIM cards inserted, so he is able to toggle between them.
Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
